I started Rework Painting a few years ago during the big 'lockdown' of 2020. I was out of work, in a bit of a mess and my little baby girl was on her way into the world.
I started the business as a means to provide for her and my family, and I fell in love with the freedom, the creativity and the huge sense satisfaction that comes from transforming peoples' homes.
I've now worked on 100's of projects and I've never looked back. Starting this business is the best thing I've ever done and I'm so very grateful to all of my customers.

How do I go about hiring you for a painting project?This is how the simple process works: 1. Get in touch on the phone or by using the contact form above 2. We'll chat about your project and get some details from you 3. We'll pop in to see you to have a look at what you want doing and gather any information we might need about paint colours, the finish and design you want 4. We'll provide you with a free quotation for you to consider 5. When you've accepted the quotation, we'll give you confirmation that your project is booked in and ask for a 20% deposit (to cover paint costs and confirm the space) 6. We'll confirm the start date, paint colours, design and finish you want before the start date 7. We'll see you on the start date to complete your project, and only take full payment once you're completely happy with the work

Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?Yes, absolutely! We make sure that you're 100% happy before we leave. If you're not completely satisfied, we work hard to make sure you are!

Do you have insurance?Yes. In the unlikely event of a small accident or damage caused by our work, you are completely covered.

Can you help with colours?Yes, definitely. Part of our service is a 'colour consultation'. If you need help choosing the right colour or finish for your project, we'll discuss options with you, make suggestions where needed and help in every way we can.

What type of paint do you use?The type of paint we use depends on your specific project. But all of the paint we use is water-based (low-odour, more eco-friendly, longer lasting) and of the very highest quality. We only want the highest level of finish for our customers.

How long will the work take?This really does vary depending on the type of work you're having done. But once we've gathered all the information we need about your project, you'll get a clear breakdown of the timescale. We do everything we can to disrupt your home life as little as possible.

Do I need to do anything before you arrive?If you're having a room or space painted, you'll want to remove as much of the furniture as possible before the start date. This just makes for a safer working environment and means we can get to every area of the room more easily. If you'd like some help to move furniture, we do offer this service as well for a small fee. If you're having your kitchen cupboards sprayed, any furniture or ornaments that are close to (or on top of) the kitchen units will need to be moved into another room. A lot of the time we can work around items inside the cupboards and drawers, but we'll discuss this with and let you know once we've seen your kitchen.

Do you fix holes, cracks or stains?Yes. As part of our standard service, we'll fix any small holes, cracks or surface imperfections as we go. Bigger issues might require additional work and cost to repair, but we'll always discuss anything like this with you before we start.
